The Christmas Gift That Keeps on Giving

This Christmas we are asking you to think about giving a gift that will benefit children and families who are homeless not just this year but for many more Christmases to come.

Each year we provide many different types of educational and therapeutic supports to the children and families we work with. These supports are now more important than ever as the COVID -19 pandemic has been extremely challenging for families struggling with homelessness. We are asking you to help us ensure that the children and families in our services receive as much support as they need to ensure their time in homelessness does not hinder them throughout their lives.

Below is a list of some of the supports we provide and the cost of each. We would be very grateful if you would consider gifting our service-users such supports to ensure that they not only enjoy this Christmas but will enjoy many more to come.

€10: Educational activity pack for a child in emergency accommodation/ A ‘hot drink and chat’ outing with one of our support workers for an older child or adult

€20: Transport to and from a school or therapy session/ School Supply Pack / Trip to indoor play area or petting farm

€30: 1-hour individual play session with a child / Facilitator for a 1-hour group work session

€50: Art/Play Therapy session for a child / Counselling session for an adult/ Food support for a family

€100: Occupational Therapy assessments for a child / Moving out support for a family
